Notes

* Fog: Visibility must be at or lower than 3 nm (nautical miles) as reported by the nearest airport weather reporting station. If there is fog with precipitation present, only the precipitation points will be counted. E.g. Mist with fog is only one point, "shower rain and drizzle" is only 3 points. FYI: The source of the 3 nm visibility used for our definition of fog comes from the definition of visibility limits for Instrument Flight Rule [IFR] in aviation.
